OAK CREEK PARKWAY


The election of the Board of Directors is set for June 9, 2018 at the Club House at 1:00 p.m. 
The Agenda of the meeting will include the election of the Board of Directors.

Jan – April Profit and Loss
Income from dues $42,568.50 and interest $13.13 for total $42,581.63
Expenses $26,692.10
Profit $12,889.53
Road Repair
The Board of Directors will present to the POA members a proposal to place a 2” cap on the roads in the community. The lowest bid was from Blevins Asphalt in Mount Vernon. The bid was for patch and seal and apply 2-inch cap.
$170,934 to do all roads
$22,000 for Oak Creek Circle
$70,000 Austin Place

A committee will be appointed to explore financing. The interest rate would be about 7% and monthly payment for the total roads would be about $2,000 month.  Some of the proposals are: (1) wait 1 – 2 years and save some money; (2) pursue grant money; (3) proposed increase the dues by $10 month (4) do part of the roads until that section is paid.
Swimming Pool
The Pool will be open 1 – 2 weeks prior to Memorial Day. The pool is for members and guest only.

Use of dumpsters
The POA is charged extra when items are left outside dumpsters and when furniture is put in dumpsters. The board plans to purchase a security camera recommended by sheriff deputy to be able to capture necessary detail.  A sign will be put up warning about security cameras and for community use only.  The board will propose a fine for members.  Non-members will be reported to law enforcement for thief of services.
Status of litigations of Oak Creek Parkway
A  law suit against a Million Oaks II resident for unauthorized use of POA private  roads to transport building material to his site in Million Oaks II. Cease and Desist order in place.
 A law suit for outbuilding constructed without approval and beyond the limit of square footage by a POA member is still pending.
