A General Meeting of the POA will be March 31, 2016 at 6:00 p.m.
The Election Date for the Board of Directors will be May 14, 2016 at 1:00 a.m.
Nominations for members of the board need to be sent to the Secretary, Connie Andersen.
The Department of Natural Resources is requiring all wells serving more than 12 homes to have a cross connection prevention program.
POA members must put a backflow value on all lawn watering system connected directly to the public water system.
The system must be checked yearly by a certified person. The cost of certification is about $50.00 per year. A record of the inspection must be kept on file by the POA.
It is the responsibility of the homeowner to have the unit installed and inspected. Addition resources can be found @ ww.epa.gov/safewater/crossconnection.html or www.dnr.mo.gov/env/
Notification of Water Shut-Off needs to be done by email.
During the last shut down, two of the volunteers who call the POA members were out of town and one was ill.. A mass email could notify members quickly.
Each member of the POA needs to give a email address to the secretary of the board (oakcreek20006@yahoo.com) to develop a group notification list. The list will be for POA business only.

Additions to Policy
The board reviewed the water shut-off/on policy. The Board voted to set a flat fee at $175 for turning the water off and back on rather than the hourly wage of two WRE workers. If the cement boot or other method is needed, an additional charges will be added to the $175.00.
If you see questionable activities in the recreation area, call the Sheriff’s office (911). The Sheriff said he will take care of the problems.
The recreation area is closed at 9:00 p.m.
Road Conditions
The roads in POA need to be repaired. If the county has no plans to act on the POA’s petition to take over Austin and Jackson in the near future, the POA will need to develop an alternative plan to repair the roads. Talking Rocks to Angora and Angora are county roads.
All additions to POA properties must be submitted to the Architecture Committee for approval. All additions to POA properties with a value of $300.00 or greater will need a Stone County Building Permit. You can contact Planning and Zoning at the court house. Vandalism We had malicious and costly destruction of the POA sign. If anyone knows who did it, please report them to the Sheriff’s office.
